CNC LOVE & HAAS VM2

I have been fascinated with CNC Milling Machines ever since I saw one during my engineering college days in the annual IMTEX exhibition held in Mumbai Every year.

It was just breath-taking watching the tools automatically change and machine the part as per the command and programs given by the Computer based on the Model shown. A raw material would go in and come out as a sparkling new machined plate with all kinds of operations done in a matter of minutes.

The term CNC stands for ‘computer numerical control’, and the CNC machining definition is that it is a subtractive manufacturing process that typically employs computerized controls and machine tools to remove layers of material from a stock piece—known as the blank or workpiece—and produces a custom-designed part. This process is suitable for a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, wood, glass, foam, and composites, and finds application in a variety of industries, such as large CNC machining, machining of parts and prototypes for telecommunications, and CNC machining aerospace parts, which require tighter tolerances than other industries

I started viewing videos of CNC machines on Youtube and would get amazed at the kind of Machining that could be done. One CNC Machine Company would stand out among all the videos ,that would be Haas Automation. In the CNC Machine tool industry, USA, Europe, Japan Korea and Taiwan are well known for their Robust, accurate and Long-Lasting Machine tools.
